Hi! Every now and then I come across the word 'medio' (n) used in Argentina to refer to the specific newspaper, TV channel, radio station or magazine that publishes something. Of course that the idea derives from "medio masivo de comunicación" (mass media), but it's more specific, sometimes used when referring to the specific source of certain information or the place of work of a journalist or artist. Let me show you a specific context"
Medio: Diario La Nación
I thought of using "medium", which is general enough, but it sounds odd. I could solve it by translating it as "Newspaper: La Nación" (the name in italics), but I was wondering if there is a word that would globally refer to a newspaper/radio channel/magazine. Any thoughts? Thanks!!!

Note from asker:
I like this option, and I use it whenever "medio" refers to the source of the news, but in this case, it refers to the place of work of two journalists and it appears right underneath a summary of the contents of an executive summary. |
