Hello

I've translated Triangle as Halter in the past but now I have this 'new' expression

From the picture, it is certainly not

1 A high neck halter
2 High as in hiding the bust

So it just looks like any other halter type bra and I can't work out the meaning of the new word 'montant'
The picture of it is not on the Internet but the cut is like

neutral  Nikki Scott-Despaigne: In 'triangle montant', the emphasis is on the fact that the triangular form is elongated, not in the effect it has. Uplift, push-up, enhance are beneficial side-effects, as it were. The French puts the accent on the cut of the fabric, not the effect.
