***Hypodiploidy***: this test will estimate the amount of DNA (genetic information) in the leukemia cells. We will compare the amount of DNA in the leukemia cells to what is present in normal cells.If a subject's leukemia cells have a lot less DNA than is present normal cells, this is called ***hypodiploidy***. From prior studies, we know that the ***hypodiploidy*** in leukemia cells means a higher likelihood of relapse.
