The only way "compressed air in mm" could possibly make sense is if it refered to compressed air line diameter.

However, their reference belongs to a completely different field.

And I doubt anybody would use air in an oil well for fire safety reasons.

But if the client wants air measured in mm that's fine let them have it.

Asker: Thank you so much, Denis! This is what I proposed to my project managers (corrosion allowance—припуск на коррoзию), but they were insisting on "CA=Compressed Air" referring me to https://heatinghelp.com/systems-help-center/what-the-heck-do-those-letters-stand-for/ (so we would have had c/air measured in mm) :)
