Лица, които се притесняват за здравето си, без да са непременно болни. Тази тревожност е различна от хипохондрията, която е психично заболяване, нуждаещо се от лечение. В МКБ 10 състоянието спада към код Z71.1 „Оплаквания, предизвикани от страх от болест, при липса на диагностицирана болест“.
