Lifting no./Capture no. Explanation: I believe 'levantamento' in this sense refers to the act of taking the turtle out of the water for inspection, etc., so 'lifting no.', 'capture no.', seem most appropriate. https://orientacion.universia.net.co/informacion_carreras/pr... In this reference, it mentions "Levantamiento, Cría y Repoblamiento de Tortugas Marinas" so this translation fits. Other sources use the term in surveys or exploration, however as the number of the fishing trip is present, I think it's most likely to refer to the capturing of the turtle as above. I'm not sure about others' suggestion of time, as there is no hora/H., etc. https://orientacion.universia.net.co/informacion_carreras/pregrado/biologia-marina-6235/universidad-jorge-tadeo-lozano-332.html |

capture Explanation: The duration of each handling event was defined as the time between net capture and release for directly captured turtles and the time between initial disentanglement effort and release for entangled turtles. The time of blood collection relative to the time of capture was recorded. file:///C:/Users/LITTLE~1/AppData/Local/Temp/Innis_healthleatherbackturtlesAtlantic.pdf -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 14 hrs (2020-09-11 12:55:39 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- Hook timers provided by the Micrel company (Hennebont, France) are used tomeasure thecapture timeat which a longline-caught turtle hooks the bait http://www.seaturtle.org/documents/EMTP-PROTOCOL-MANUAL.pdf -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 14 hrs (2020-09-11 12:57:39 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- CAPTURE TIME http://www.latinamericanseaturtles.com/archivos/documentos/I... |
