Partant de l'explication de Claire selon laquelle "the solutions that Y offers today are the next generation of identity security", je trouve que la proposition de Samuel, bien que pour moi la meilleure de toutes celles proposées jusqu'à présent, reste incomplète.

Et perso, j'aimerais savoir comment est-ce qu'il rendrait la seconde partie de l'idée/phrase : "and not the other way around"...

D'où ma proposition, car je pense qu'on ne devrait pas sectionner cette phrase ("catch up with Y" d'un côté et de l'autre "and not the other way around"), ce qui tend à supprimer une partie de l'information.

Can't see why that aspect should be watered down in the translation.

neutral  Tony M: Yes, for the idea — although I do rather feel this expresses a 'judgement' that the source text is at pains to avoid. / Ths S/T puts a positive spin on their message, to avoid appearing to overly criticize their competition.

  -> The ST sounds to me rather heavily "judgemental", as in: "we are the future" so other should see the errors of their outdated ways and follow us // A "nice and neutral" marketing material? That would be a first, more like a contradictio in adjecto?
