The Board of Trustees of the [związek zawodowy] District Council Pension Fund recently announced an increase in the accrual rate for each service credit earned by an active member/participant. If a participant works for at least 150 continuous hours during calendar year 2022 or later and retires after January 1, 2022, the monthly benefit accrual rate for each service credit is increased to $3.95.

the period of time you are employed by a public
employer and making contributions to OPERS.

You earn contributing service credit when your
contributions are remitted to OPERS by your

on your behalf, then no service credit is earned
for that reporting period. Service credit is accrued
based on the month in which your pay period
ends.
