en el aire como agua mineral Explanation: The literary text could be allegorical for the author. Considering the background description of the apartment that is often used in cognac ads. He is being transported from a physical place to an imagined one in the cognac advertisement. Mineral water can be used in cognac but it is mixed into cognac in small amounts. Both liquids have to be mixed just right relying on air within the glass as the its being mixed. I hope that makes sense. Sorry it couldn't be explained in Spanish. en un aire como agua mineral Explanation: Entiendo que el/la protagonista queda en una especie de trance (hasta ahí es claro) y como flotando/suspendida en un aire cuya textura semeja la del agua. Esto coincidiría con la sensación de cámara lenta y onírica que transmite el texto. Por qué ¨agua mineral¨y no simplemente agua no lo sé. Con respecto a la publicidad de cognac, no hay ninguna connotación cultural particular, fuera del que el cognac se asocia más bien con un ambiente exclusivo y relajado, lo cual se deduce también del resto del texto: ambientes amplios, espacio, muebles de cuero, embeleso.
