I keep reading reviews about villa hosts, but what do they actually do? Would we book all activities and dinners through him or her? Will he or she help us move rooms half way through the trip (we’re switching from a water to beach villa)? I’m just curious as to what we should expect. Thanks for helping a Maldives newbie! Re: What does a villa host do? 4 years ago Save Exactly, you can ask him to arrange dinner at your preferred restaurant (or destination dining), pre-book excursions, spa treatments and so on. Sometimes they also offer unpacking/packing service (we never use it, so I am not sure if it is also standard at Baros). Usually the room boys do the moving, not the butlers ;-).
