J'ai un peu de difficultés à traduire cette expression sans trop de lourdeur.
La phrase exacte est :

The book bears the marks of her first-hand knowledge of the industry.

J'ai bien pensé à "porte l'empreinte des connaissances directes de l'industrie acquises par.."
Cette expression est bien utilisée, mais je la trouve un peu lourde. Est-ce que je me trompe ? Si oui, quelqu'un a-t-il une meilleure réponse ?
