Explanation:
Le mille varianti dell’espressione “Ogni scarrafone è bello ‘a mamma soja” sono un classico in Italia. Letteralmente questa frase, portata alla notorietà anche grazie alla canzone di Pino Daniele “O Scarrafone”, vuol dire “Ogni scarafaggio è bello agli occhi della madre”.

Chiunque, infatti, anche quelli più brutti e poco attraenti, appaiono belli agli occhi della propria madre, che li guarda con gli occhi dell’amore. Una prassi molto mediterranea, gli italiani del sud infatti sono sempre stati visti come molto “mammoni”. Questo modo di dire è stato reso accessibile anche a chi non parla il dialetto napoletano proprio dalla canzone del grande artista partenopeo.
