As a full-time employee at International Division of TOMOE Engineering Co., Tokyo, I worked 2 full years as a translator.
Before working for TOMOE, I worked for NIPPON OIL COMPANY for 38 years including 3 time overseas assignments (New York, Sydney and Houston), and I used English for translation and interpretation work throughout 38years, but not full-time translator.
Basic rate: English to Japanese:USD 0.15/word
Japanese to English:USD 0.10/word.
