Bio
I have been working as an English-Brazilian Portuguese translator for 5 years as a freelancer. I have taught English as a foreign language for 12 years, I have a Master's Degree in Psycholinguistics (PUC-Rio), a Certificate in English Translation from Universidade Estácio de Sá, and I am a BA in Communications/Advertising (UFRJ). I own licenses to use Studio Trados and MemoQ. I also have experiences using CAT Tools such as Translation Workspace, AWS, XTM, MateCAT, and SmartCAT. My main translation fields are medicine, education, business management, and IT. Lately I have done lots of subtitling work, usually pharmaceutics industry materials for English, Spanish, and French into Portuguese and En>PT-BR. I also do subtitling for pharmaceuticals industry conferences, TV shows, newscasts, and documentaries.
