I have a degree in Spanish and am Certified as a Translator by the American Translator's Association (Spanish into English, English into Spanish), in addition to being certified as a Court Interpreter for both the California and Federal Courts. I have been an interpreter educator for over 15 years, and have worked extensively in the medical and legal fields as both an interpreter and a translator.

I am a native speaker of English, being born and raised in California. My spouse and his family are from Mexico City, and my most extensive knowledge of a variety of Spanish would be that of Mexico.
