| Description | The IFA is a private school attached to the University of Erlangen-Nürnberg for foreign language correspondents (Berufsfachschule BFS) and translators and interpreters certified by the state of Bavaria (Fachakademie FAK). The school has fees that can be paid yearly, each semester or monthly (cf. http://www.ifa.uni-erlangen.de/gebuehren/) The minimum admission requirement into the BFS is the "Mittlere Reife". "Abitur" is needed to enter directly into the FAK. |
