Word count in Microsoft Power Point Tagapagpost sa thread: Cristina Cajoto

Hello everyone, I have a Power Point presentation to translate. My problem is that I have no idea how to count the words in a Power Point document (it's so easy to do in Word!) I've tried to copy the whole thing into Word, but the problem is that there are so many text boxes in the document, that I'll have to select and copy them one by one, which will take me ages to do. Does anyone know if this can be done in a quicker way? Thanks for your help. ... See more Hello everyone, I have a Power Point presentation to translate. Hola Cristina: Para contar las palabras en Power Point debes ir Archivo --> Propiedades --> Estadísticas. Y en Estadísticas, podrás leer cuántas palabras, párrafos, diapositivas tiene tu documento. Hi Christina, Just be careful if you use the word count under Statistics in File properties as Maria suggests. It doesn't count all the words in all the text boxes, embedded tables, etc. But it's better than nothing! I use a combination of that and a Wordfast count, if I've been able to use Wordfast. Presumably other TM software lets you count as well. At least then you'd know what you were able to translate using the TM software and would only need to count what was left....Good lu... I'll be careful with those extra words that Power Point doesn't count.
