The chemical modification of drugs to overcome pharmaceutical problems has also been termed "drug latentiation." Drug latentiation is the chemical modification of a biologically active compound to form a new compound, which upon in vivo enzymatic attack will liberate the parent compound. The terms prodrugs, latentiated drugs, and bio-reversible derivatives are used interchangeably.

Jak Pan słusznie zauważył- podał- definicję już mamy. Pytanie- czy mamy już polski odpowiednik tego zwrotu. Wydaje mi się, że nie....

Można też to oddać jako : proces ( w pewnym sensie making latent) modyfikacji etc. + resztę definicji ( nie zmieściło się w polu)- SZCZEGÓLNIE na podstawie podanego źródła:

Wydaje mi się, że nie istnieje poslki odpowiednik. Nawet źródła niemieckie operują słowem: latentiation.
