It is better to wait for the asker's explanation/decision, but since the asker is not using one of established phonetic alphabets, lack of one-to-one correspondence of letters and sound occurs. This is what we call FINGLISH, a blend of Farsi and English.
It seems to me here that your concern, thermal, would be garma'i, i.e. گرمایی, which is an adjective in farsi, rather than "garmi" i.e. گرمی which is a noun.

I looked up "mass" in my English>Persian engineering dictionary and found "jerm(i)...is this what your Persian text shows? Or is it "garmi"

thermal velocity makes more sense here than mass velocity...the topic is about heat insulators
