Venite tutti qui gattini, mettetevi in fila, uno dietro l'altro e iniziate a camminare come fanno i gatti. Provate a immaginare un gatto che si muove davanti a voi! Osservatelo. Riuscite a vederlo con la fantasia? Muovetevi allo stesso modo di un gatto. Ci riuscite?
Provate ora a camminare all’indietro.
Fermatevi e restate a quattro zampe. Adesso alzate e allungate una gamba e restate in equilibrio su tre zampe. Come si sta? Abbassate e sollevate e allungate dietro di voi l’altra gamba. Sollevate adesso un braccio in avanti e restate in equilibrio su tre zampe. Abbassate e provate con l’altro braccio. Che equilibristi! Bravissimi! Adesso i gatti vogliono provare a stare in equilibrio su due sole zampe. Provate prima sollevando e allungando il braccio e la gamba dello stesso lato. Bravi! Adesso provate con l’altro lato. Qual è più facile? Provate adesso a sollevare e allungare la gamba di un lato e il braccio dell’altro lato! Ma siete bravissimi! Provate con l’altra gamba e il braccio opposto. Riposatevi un momento.
Sempre a quattro zampe iniziate a fare dei movimenti con la schiena. Fate la gobba e poi tornate in posizione di partenza. Avete visto i gatti fare la gobba? Ripetete qualche volta il movimento.
Adesso invece fate la conca con la schiena per poi tornare alla posizione iniziale. L’ombelico va verso il pavimento e la schiena fa una conca. Sempre a quattro zampe alternate per un po’ di volte la gobba e poi la conca.

it may be yoga for kids but we are talking to children here getting them to to do excercise through play so I wouldn't use any yoga/pilates speak.

neutral  Lisa Jane: I don't think the name of a yoga asana works in this specific context.If you say "do cat pose" a child may say "which one" a cat has many poses.
