Tulpenmanie Definition from Wikipedia: Die traditionelle Deutung des Preisanstiegs und Preisverfalls von Tulpen versteht diese Ereignisse als exzessive Finanzspekulation und leichtsinnige Verrücktheit. Entscheidend für die Verbreitung der Idee einer Tulpenmanie war das Buch Extraordinary Popular Delusions and the Madness of Crowds, das der schottische Journalist Charles Mackay 1841 in London veröffentlichte.
