Gas geben Explanation: Der Ausdruck bezieht sich auf eine aerodynamische Fahrweise. Zumindest lassen die Referenzen darauf schließen. Da eine solche Fahrweise nur bei hoher Geschwindigkeit wirklich Sinn macht, verstehe ich diesen Ausdruck als Hinweis, dass man auf der Strecke richtig Gas geben kann. Mein etwas freier gehaltener Übersetzungsvorschlag zielt darauf ab, dem Charakter des Texts (Tourismusmarketing) gerecht zu werden. „Auf der verlassenen Autobahn heißt, es Gas geben und sich in enge Kurven legen.
