the wrong path Explanation: 256. There is no compulsion in religion. Verily, the Right Path has become distinct from the wrong path. Whoever disbelieves in Tâghût [2] and believes in Allâh, then he has grasped the most trustworthy handhold that will never break. And Allâh is All-Hearer, All-Knower. The term "الغي" here might also refer to "enmity". |

Dominance/ suppression/oppression Explanation: الغي is used in religious context. The speaker is obviously a Muslim, and it's why the word shouldn't not be translated literally. You can check it in religious translation. It's translated into الغي: falsehood يمدهم في الغي : supports their oppression or let them continue their oppression Oppression a situation in which people are governed in an unfair and cruel way and prevented from having opportunities and freedom -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 30 mins (2023-05-31 09:19:36 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- https://dictionary.cambridge.org/dictionary/english/oppressi... |

But their brothers - the devils increase them in error; then they do not stop short. As for their brethren [the Satans], they draw them deeper into error and do not relax in their efforts. But their brethren (the evil ones) plunge them deeper into error, and never relax (their efforts). https://surahquran.org/english-aya-202-sora-7.html https://quran4all.net/ar/translate/1/7/202 |
