This term comes up several times in the document I am translating (decontaminating a nuclear reactor). I have come up with torus, but it doesn't seem to fit, and bull doesn't seem right either. Below I have the context.

Explanation:
A la cámara supresora de presión se le conoce también como Toro porque esa es la marca del dispositivo. Las válvulas Toro se escribe con mayúscula porque proviene de un apellido, tal vez de su fabricante. Igual a Boch, Jonhson, Smith, etc.... De allí surge el término toroide. Mas técnicamente se le llama cámara supresora de presión, dispositivo de control de presión, válvula de alivio, etc....porque esa es su función. Controlar la presión cuando esta se dispara.
