Alas, a 'simplified joint-stock company' (the original label in the 17th Century 'name for a corporation in which the liability of the owners is limited to the nominal value of the stock / shares held by them') went out of use in the UK literally centuries ago.

Explanation:
I don't know if the French SAS is the same as the Argentine SAS (Sociedad por Acciones Simplificada) company status formed a few years back. At any rate, most of what I've seen in English refers to this SAS as a simplified corporation and its associés as shareholders, a term that sits well with their gathering for an AGM.
