It is a description of a module in an FP electrical course.

I've seen other KudoZ answers have been "link", "distribution facility / junction box". I was wondering if anyone knew of any other descriptions for it.

Enllaç refers to the link to the power grid, from the distribution board.
By instal·lació, it just refers to the setup / circuit made specifically for this purpose.

There's probably a better resource, but below is Endesa power company's explanation in Spanish:
