Explanation:
"Weighted sum" is alright but "weighted averages" is more professional since 加权和 are really the probability "moments", which by defition contain the so called "mean value" (<x>, the first power), the so called standard deviation (square root of <x**2>-<x>**2, i.e. the moment of the 2nd power), and the higher order "moments" (if you need them) such as <(x-<x>)**3>, <(x-<x>)**4>, and so on.
