Joint Sectoral Committee for the Services Sector/Industry Explanation: Since a Bedrijfscommissie represents an industry or sector, this may be more appropriate. http://www.eurofound.eu.int/emire/NETHERLANDS/JOINTSECTORALC... BEDRIJFSCOMMISSIE JOINT SECTORAL COMMITTEE Name given to the industry-level bipartite Committee, composed of equal numbers of employer and employee representatives, set up in each industry or sector of activity by the Social and Economic Council. Under the terms of the Works Councils Act, this Committee mediates in disputes between an employer and the works council. If it fails to establish agreement between the two parties, the Committee puts forward its decision in a formal opinion. If one of the parties finds this unacceptable, they may refer the matter to the courts. |
