Good morning,

has anyone suggestions for the correct Italian equivalent for "article addendum"?

I'm translating a research article.

The "addendum" is meant to be "a section of new material that is added after the first edition or first printing", other than the "appendix", which is normally "a section of extra information that is useful to the reader." (Britannica: https://www.britannica.com/dictionary/eb/qa/what-s-the-diffe...

Appendice should not be correct for the above reason.

Integrazione all'articolo? Would it be correct to use it in the context of scientific writing?

Not many entries were to be found in Google Scholar (IT), I suppose due to the smaller number of scientific texts in Italian, compared to the amount available in English.
However, what I found would confirm that the solution provided ("aggiornamento dell'articolo") can be used as a modern and understandable equivalent for the SL term "article addendum".
