agree  V&M Stanković: da, a možda je bolje malo slobodnije, npr. „čiste/nepokrivene/nezaštićene metalne površine“ - ovde se najverovatnije misli na površine metala koje nisu ničim pokrivene (bojom, prevlakama i sl)

neutral  Mira Stepanovic: 'ogoljeni metali' po meni ovde nije srećno rešenje jer nešto mora prethodno da bude pokriveno/presvučeno da bi zatim bilo ogoljeno; ali se slažem sa predlogom koleginice Vesne ne zato što 'lepše zvuči' nego zato što mislim da je to ispravno značenje.

neutral  Mira Stepanovic: 'čist metal' je 'pure metal' , mislim da se to ne uklapa u ovaj kontekst http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Metal / naknadno dodati primer je u potpuno drugom kontekstu i samo potvrđuje moju sumnju
