Explanation:
Cuando trabajas en bases de datos y envías varias instrucciones en un único lote, es muy probable que haya dependencias entre instrucciones, por ejemplo:
Si no exite, añade a "Maria" en la tabla de usuarios
Dame el núemero de ID de Maria y llámale x
En la tabla de teléfonos, añade 913 654 287 como teléfono para x
etc...

Son especialmente críticos cuando se trata de transiciones bancarias, acciones de gestión de stocks, etc...

En tales casos el "commit" es la ejecución real de todo el lote, y "rollback" el regreso al estado anterior al inicio de la operación (deshacer lo que se pudiera haber hecho hasta entonces), probablemente por encontrar un problema durante la ejecución de una instrucción
