Copper pole face damper bars förekommer i en handbok för en synkrongenerator i den allmänna beskrivningen av rotorn:

The coil ends are kept in place by coil support bars, which extend beyond the full length of each coil, and are used to carry a balance ring at each end of the rotor.
A number of copper pole face damper bars are fitted into holes in the laminations, and short-circuited together at the ends of the pole by brazing them to copper segments.
