Explanation:
Це точнісінько те ж саме, що в українських школах робиться наприкінці чверті, року, тощо - контрольні та табель.

"Згідно з контрольними оцінками, що (ваша) дитина отримала "наприкінці (останнього) навчального періода ..."
або
За показниками останнього навчального періода ваша дитина не відповідає ...."

Різниця в тому, що вони (на Заході) мають середній рівень оцінок в класі - всі, що перевищують рівень - молодці, всі, що нижче - поганці. До того. ще є загально виведений рівень, що розподвсюджують по школам - його теж треба дотримуватися.

З реаліями, на жаль, не знайома, але джерело корисне знайшлось. Згідно інформації, є рівні Advanced, Proficient,Basic і нарешті, Below Basic. Я би переклала ці рівні: Передовий(вище загального рівня),Досвічений (добре знає),Базовий рівень(задовільно)та Нижче базового рівня (незадовільно). Зрозуміло, що Ваш переклад може відрізнятися,мій - як приклад. Перевірка здійснюється в 5,8 і 11 класах з математики, письмової та усної мови.

Every Pennsylvania student in 5th, 8th and 11th grade is assessed in reading, math and writing.

The Below Basic Level reflects inadequate academic performance. Below Basic work indicates little understanding and minimal display of the skills included in the Pennsylvania Academic Content Standards. There is a major need for additional instructional opportunities and/or increased student academic commitment to achieve the Proficient Level.
