5G = 5ème Générale Explanation: MEF is a data base belonging to the Ministère de l'Education Nationale. I can't remember for the moment the exact meaning, but I am pretty sure that E is for "Enseignements" (French, Latin etc...) and F for "facultatif". Ah! here it comes back: "M" is for "Moyens". It represents the number of teaching hours a Head may rely on for such and such discipline. (I am a retired Head!!) |
