Les politiques (et journalistes !) étant en vacances au mois d’août, cette déclaration n’a pas été suivie de répliques contradictoires venant brouiller le message.

Der Satz bezieht sich auf Draghis Aussage, dass die EZB bereit ist, alles zu tun, um den Euro zu retten.

Ich verstehe genau, was der Autor sagen will, finde aber keine schöne Übersetzung für "brouiller le message".

"Verwässern" trifft es m.E. nicht ganz. Habt Ihr ne gute Idee?
