Βρόγχοι is loops (in a number of fields).
In British railway terminology: used on single-track railway lines, a loop is a second parallel set of tracks (running for a short distance), allowing two trains to pass by one another.
(In another British glossary: A loop is a track used to pass a faster train round a slower one, e.g.: the freight train goes in the loop whilst the express passes on the main line. )
A siding is a section of track off the main line used for storing rolling stock or freight. In the US the term is also used to cover the British term: loop.
Now I don't think you need a translation for 'απελευθέρωσης', as it was most probably added to show what this βρόγχος does (plus a 'release loop' does not seem to be standard terminology).
The siding or the loop is made up of tracks, so what you need removed there is the tracks, not the siding or the loop.
Therefore, depending on your target audience: siding tracks or loop tracks.

locomotive release loop of platform 4 can be seen on the right with decidedly rusty-looking rails since the Arriva loco-hauled trains ceased.
