Italian to English translations [PRO]
Tech/Engineering - Engineering: Industrial / CEI norms
Italian term or phrase: apparecchiature di serie (AS)
I need some help with the above term in the following context:

CEI Norm 17/13-1 "Apparecchiature assiemate di protezione e manovra per bassa tensions (quadri BT)" - Parte 1: "Apparecchiature di serie soggette a prove di tipo (AS) e apparecchiature non di serie parzialmente soggette a prove di tipo (ANS)"

I found an existing translation of the first part of this CEI Norm "apparecchiature assiemate" which is translated as: Low voltage switchgear assemblies (low voltage switchboards).

Does this then mean that apparecchiature di serie (AS) would also be series switchgear or have I gone off the track?

I would appreciate your comments!

type-tested assemblies (TTA)
Explanation:
I suspect this is the translation you need... (I think the norm you refer to is the Italian implementation of the international one)

EN 60439-1
Low-voltage switchgear combinations; part 1: Type-tested and partially type-tested assemblies

Thanks to all who contributed. This is the translation (albeit I think the Italian was originally translated from English) regarding CEI (or EN) norms.

standard equipment

Explanation:
The wording "di serie" can refer to 'standard production', mas--produced items etc. The idea is something produced in large quantities vs one-off production.
