Real Estate / wills/estates
Japanese term or phrase:
This is part of an agreement about the estate of a deceased person. Underneath this comes the address and the name of the building, a condominium complex.
It is followed by 専有部分の建物の表示 and 敷地権の表示, which I think I can work out if someone can give me a good translation for the term in question.

(indicating) one individual residence/home

Explanation:
一棟 = hitomune = one house / one residence / one home

Casey, I didn't use house because you mention that it is in a condominium complex.

(The indication of) one individual residence / one home

agree  sigmalanguage: Don't know if there is any established translation, but this is what it means. As you say, 一棟 here means "entire", not "one of many".

Description of one building OR each building

Explanation:
These terms are used to describe estates like 分譲マンション, condo fo sale. In this case it looks like one building condo, or does the paper have a separate listing for each building? I cannot tell.

Anyhow, here it needs to describe just one building, which carries one address. The 専有部分 refers to each unit allotted with its own 番号 and etc.

This page will help you (it helped me!)

http://www.chosashi-hyogo.or.jp/qanda/qa_24.htm

agree  Joyce A: Great. page, Rie. Helped me too. It looked to me like the one residence in the condo complex; makes sense with the other 2 terms right behind it.

Reference information:
It is my understanding that in cases where apartments are involved, the word "entire" is very important. It signifies that you are talking about the entire building, within which one apartment or multiple apartments are located.

For example, if you are talking about the sale of one apartment unit, but you have to give information about the building that houses that one unit, then including the word "entire" would not only be preferred, it would be absolutely necessary. This is, of course, to let the reader know you are talking not about the individual apartment, but the entire building.
