Spread the word Explanation: Priklausomai nuo konteksto: jei jie šventę išgarsino, t.y., ji tapo garsi (gerai žinoma šalyje ir/arba už jos ribų), tuomet tinka Kristinos variantas, tik vietoj "famous" siūlyčiau "well known". Taigi, būtų: made the festival well known. Taigi, būtų: "X" on their own innitiave have spread the word about "Y" |

worked on the publicity for (the festival) Explanation: I would say this corresponds to the wide range of practical activities you mention - “rodė įvairias reklamas, skelbė informacija, rašė ir pan.”. Also choose the appropriate tense form: worked ... (in the past) - or - has worked ... (in the past, but also for a certain longer period of time) - or - has been working ... (in the past, for a certain period of time, and still does). Examples: (1) “It’s always interesting to hear how people heard of an event that I have worked on the publicity for.” http://ohlmanngroup.com/spread-the-word/ (2) “A few years ago Joan worked on the publicity for the Woodstock Film Festival, which I run, and did a tremendous job.” http://www.greycoreliteraryservices.com/About_joan.html (3) “This committee worked on the publicity for this event, and on the recruitment of corporate sponsors.” https://iportfolio.curtin.edu.au/view/my_networks.cfm?user=1... (4) “[..] man with whom I had the great pleasure of working on the publicity for the London presentation of ‘How to Succeed in Business without Really Trying.’” “Doris Day” by Eric Braun Hachette UK, 2010.
