the angle (vantage point) the plot was seen from . . . Explanation: Suggestion: I suppose they're referring to the "angle" or " vantage point" the movie was seen from . . Maybe looking from the inside out or the outside in . . |

the way in which the plot was handled Explanation: As you may know, Cidade de Deus is based on a novel. I presume the authors mean to address the way in which the novel was rendered in film—the way the plot (which takes place in a very real context) was given a Tarantinoesque, neo-noir style, perhaps even as a deliberate way of making the film more appealing to international audiences.
