Reference: bubble emissions Reference information: The RMEF support the bubble approach as stipulated in the proposed SO2 emission standards. The bubble concept provides a mechanism for forcing down emissions while allowing site-specific factors to be considered for the refinery as a whole. The technical justification of the www.saaqis.org.za/filedownload.aspx?fileid=187 Koch specifically requests whether the following conditions could be used to limit their potential to emit to below major modification thresholds: bubble all process heater emissions for the existing heaters, take a federally enforceable emission limit on the heaters, use an averaging period of 365 consecutive days which are rolled daily for the heaters, bubble all VOC emissions for its storage tanks in the refinery tank farm, and take a federally enforceable emission limit for storage tanks. http://www.epa.gov/Region7/programs/artd/air/title5/t5memos/... http://books.google.ro/books?id=zsq5Cmn_yeIC&pg=PA283&lpg=PA... Reducing SOx emissions has become an increasing challenge in many parts of the world. Depending on the location, SOx emission limits are defined at refinery level as so-called bubble limits, or are specified per emission source or even by concentrations in the atmosphere http://www.albemarle.com/products_and_services/Catalysts/Cou... |
