Heathrow Airport is one of the few places in England you can be sure of seeing a gun. These guns are carried by policemen in short-sleeved shirts and black flak-jackets, alert for terrorists about to blow up Tie-Rack. They are unlikely to confront me directly, but if they do I shall tell them the truth. I shall state my business. I’m planning to stop at Heathrow Airport until I see someone I know. (...)

Astonishingly, I wait for thirty-nine minutes and don’t see one person I know. Not one, and no-one knows me. I’m as anonymous as the drivers with their universal name-cards (some surnames I know), except the drivers are better dressed. Since the kids, whatever I wear looks like pyjamas. Coats, shirts, T-shirts, jeans, suits; like slept-in pyjamas. (...)

I hear myself thinking about all the people I know who have let me down by not leaving early on a Tuesday morning for glamorous European destinations. My former colleagues from the insurance office must still be stuck at their desks, like I always said they would be, when I was stuck there too, wasting my time and unable to settle while Ally moved steadily onward, getting her PhD and her first research fellowship at Reading University, her first promotion.

Our more recent grown-up friends, who have serious jobs and who therefore I half expect to be seeing any moment now, tell me that home-making is a perfectly decent occupation for a man, courageous even, yes, manly to stay at home with the kids. These friends of ours are primarily Ally’s friends. I don’t seem to know anyone anymore, and away from the children and the overhead planes, hearing myself think, I hear the thoughts of a whinger. This is not what I had been hoping to hear.

I start crying, not grimacing or sobbing, just big silent tears rolling down my cheeks. I don’t want anyone I know to see me crying, because I’m not the kind of person who cracks up at Heathrow airport some nothing Tuesday morning. I manage our house impeccably, like a business. It’s a serious job. I have spreadsheets to monitor the hoover-bag situation and colour-coded print-outs about the ethical consequences of nappies. I am not myself this morning. I don’t know who I am.

Channel tables and downstream DOCSIS channel selection is performed from the front panel, if the user is allowed access. Once the cable modem ranges and registers on the network, a setup configuration file can be downloaded to configure the CM1000. [Doing the Right Thing] Honesty Pays

Imagine chancing upon a stack of cash which you could have easily taken without anyone knowing…

Yet when Lisa Ji, a housekeeper at Crowne Plaza Shanghai, discovered two big envelopes stuffed with nearly 24,000 Euros, the honest room attendant did not hesitate to report the discovery right away.

“I was making up Room 2045, and it was standard procedure to check the safe,” Lisa explains, about how she discovered the mislaid money. The hotel immediately attempted to trace the guest who had been staying in the room.

The amount of money – approximately equivalent to 240,000 RMB – would have been equivalent to 13 years’ salary for a room attendant, but Lisa did not even entertain thoughts of keeping what was not hers.

“I’m just doing my duty to return the money – it was the right thing to do,” she says modestly.

The Canadian guest to whom the cash belonged was naturally immensely relieved when the hotel contacted him, and expressed his gratitude to Lisa with a gift of 100 Euros.

“It would have been an enormous loss if I did not have the good fortune to meet an honest staff like Lisa,” he says. “I’ll definitely choose Crowne Plaza Shanghai for my future hotel stays.”

In recognition of Lisa’s honesty and her courage to do the right thing, Crowne Plaza Shanghai also awarded Lisa with a letter of commendation and a cash award.


Hospitality with a Heart [Show we care]

At the Terrace Bar of Crowne Plaza Surfers Paradise, Australia, the office crowd mingled with the young at heart over nibbles and post-work drinks, chilling out in a relaxing ambience after a long day.

It was close to midnight when a man came dashing into the lobby, with a broken bicycle in tow. It was Simon O’Brien, a houseman and the resident artist extraordinaire at the hotel. “Is there some place I can leave my bike?” Simon inquired at the front desk. “I’ve just had an accident, and can’t seem to find a place to park it.”

Parking the bike at the hotel was not a problem, of course. But when
Josh Dorday, the risk manager on duty, heard about Simon’s plight and discovered that he had no way of getting home since his bike was wrecked, he generously offered his own credit card to the hotel’s Night Manager and instructed him to book Simon into a room for the night.

“I was very touched by Josh’s kindness,” says a grateful Simon. “He acted intuitively and his generous gesture was a big help for me when I needed it the most.”

Sometimes it’s the little things that make a big difference, and for Simon, the “little thing” on Josh’s part made a huge difference.

Incidentally, the hotel did not charge Josh for Simon’s stay, staying true to the spirit of ‘show we care’ and helping a colleague out in time of need.


A Bark for the Blind [Show we care]

It was all about puppy love at the Holiday Inn City Centre Perth.

The warm and friendly guide dogs were inspirational in the hotel’s choice to adopt the Association for the Blind in Western Australia and make a difference to the local community.

As part of the hotel’s community engagement, a number of activities have been planned to engage the hotel’s employees in volunteer work. Kicking off with a Street Appeal on 18th May, staff from the Holiday Inn City Centre Perth took turns to man a stall in front of the hotel. The stall, strategically positioned at a busy thoroughfare, raised a total of AUS $1,500 through donations and the sale of merchandise like puppy soft toys, pens and badges.

Besides organising community activities for the blind, arrangements have also been made to let the team can make voluntary payroll contributions. The donations will assist in raising funds for Guide Dog training sessions, which costs AUD$20,000 per dog.

The team also recently had the pleasure of meeting Jenny, a member of the Association for the Blind, who shared with the team how she and her husband, who is also visually impaired, have raised two boys. Another special guest was Jarrah – a Labrador under training by the Association.

“As far as charitable initiatives go, this is a very unique one. I think our efforts have helped to raise awareness within the hotel as well as spread the word on the street on how useful these guide dogs are for their owners,” remarks Keith Perreau, Conference Manager of Holiday Inn Perth. Keith played a significant role in coordinating the charity sales at the street stall.

“The team is excited about doing our bit for the community through the hotel’s association with this great charity,” adds Deborah Stubbs, who oversees talent management for the hotel. “In this way, we hope to work closely together for a good cause, and do what we can as a team for those less fortunate than us.”


Weigh to Go! [Aim Higher]

Lose a pound or two – and contribute to a good cause at the same time with Crowne Plaza Terrigal’s innovative challenge for charity.

Having launched the Winning Ways, rolled out a new Winning Ways newsletter and organised a Word Search puzzle competition, the hotel team has come up with a creative way of encouraging everyone to embrace IHG’s five Winning Ways values.

The “Winning Ways to Weight Loss” charity event promotes a healthy lifestyle and is a way for the team to lose weight at the same time. For each kilogram they nominate to lose, a dollar will be donated to the local charity, Central Coast Community Chest.

Spanning over three months, the event will be kicked off with a consultation with a nutritionist and confidential weigh-in with Health Club Manager Brad Williams. Throughout the programme, each member will be monitored carefully and assigned a buddy for morale support.

“We had an inspirational talk by a personal trainer from a local fitness company, and she told us that if we want to lose weight, we’d need to take charge of our lives – for good – in order to get the physical and emotional well-being we seek,” recalls Jenny Robinson, Human Resources coordinator. “We are working better together and encouraging one another; it’s not always easy but the team is rallying one another to achieve our respective goals!”

“It’s been so much easier to watch what I eat and stay on track with my weight loss plan with such a supportive team around me,” adds Melanie Smith, Crowne Meetings Director. “It’s also a huge plus to be able to do my part for charity.”

“I’m really proud with my progress – this programme has been great for my self esteem and I hope our efforts will make a difference to our local charity,” says Madelaine Gibbs from the Laundry Department.

The team hopes to raise at least AUD$2,000 for Central Coast Community Chest. To motivate the team even further, Brad Williams has been handing out flyers with health tips and conducting weekly weigh-in sessions to keep the team fighting fit.

“Perhaps the Winning Ways to Weight Loss charity event challenge could even become a global IHG programme. This would have a huge impact for the local charities in each country we operate in – which will be a great IHG story to tell!” says Jenny.

Sweet victory [Aim Higher]

It’s a sweet victory indeed for award-winning pastry chef Mary Yu at Crowne Plaza Jinan, who has been whipping up pastry after pastry, and wowing not only our guests but also winning the hearts (and palates) of judges at national food competitions.

In April this year, she’s earned herself the title of “Best Pastries Technician Chef” in Beijing, China.

“I’m delighted to be given this title,” says Mary. “It’s so encouraging when your efforts and hard work are recognised. The best part is – I get to do what I really enjoy!”

Mary first started as a hotel dim sum chef in 1980. When she joined the Crowne Plaza Jinan in 2001, she switched to being a pastry chef. Two years later, Mary’s hard work and skill was brought to the attention of her superiors, and she was asked to head the pastry section.

When Mary is not baking up a storm – like making her signature chocolate mousse cake, for example – she’s patiently coaching members of her pastry team so their creations will match hers in terms of quality and consistency. When Mary is in the kitchen, she’s not just about baking great pastries, but about training great people as well.

“Mary has always kept a high standard within her pastry team, and she does this by training and developing the aspiring chefs under her, encouraging them to perfect their techniques or to come up with their own innovations,” affirms Scott Williams, General Manager of Crowne Plaza Jinan.

Over the years, Mary has won many prizes for her outstanding pastry creations, including a nomination as Best Pastry Chef by China Hotel Association in 2004. Most noteworthy are her gold medals in the Pastries Competition at the 1998 Dalian World All Chinese Culinary Competition as well as the 2006 National Cooking Competition. In the same year, she was also conferred the Chief Pastries Judge by China Food Association.

“Everyone loves her pastries,” Scott adds “Mary is such a hard worker as well, always giving her best and never compromising on quality. We are very proud to have her on the team.”

Breathing life into dragons may sound like ancient mythology, but at the 58th Sapporo Snow Festival and the 34th International Snow Sculpture Contest, a dragon was artfully brought to “life” by the patient coaxing and dexterous hands of InterContinental Grand Stanford Hong Kong chef, Alan Tam Wai Lun.

Together with his team, Alan created a modern-day ice-age miracle by skillfully carving a three-metre-long Dragon out of a nine-square-metre block of ice, which won the showcase event. The artistic sculpture was intended to mark the 10th anniversary of Hong Kong’s handover to China in 1997.

“As it is 2007, I thought it would be a good idea to create a design that represented the reunion of China and Hong Kong,” explains Alan, who was the lead artist. “The dragon symbolises the handover which took place 10 years ago.”

The elaborate ice sculpture bagged the grand championship title, marking the pinnacle of a 20-year career for the artistic 41-year-old chef. Not bad for a man who, for the first half of his life, had never seen snow!

The prestigious Sapporo event is the Olympics of the ice-carving world and represents a gruelling test of artisan skills against the elements. Representatives from 17 countries slogged over four days to transform blocks of ice into wondrous works of art.

“Conditions were tough this year. The weather was especially challenging. It was too warm on the first day; then it rained, and got too windy; and it even snowed!” exclaims Alan. “Snow covers everything, making it hard to see what you are carving, while rain melts the ice and makes holes that you have to cover up.”

This was Alan’s fifth year at the Sapporo Snow Festival. In previous individual events, he had bagged second, third and fourth positions, “but this year’s grand champion position is the highest achievement and is the most prestigious win of all,” he declares happily.
“I don’t consider myself the best ice carver, but I just carve the ice to the best of my ability!”


Opening Doors to Each Other [Working Better Together]

Taking the initiative to keep improving is what helps every organisation grow – and it is exactly this attitude that sets the InterContinental Singapore finance department apart. Already regarded as having one of the best finance systems in the Southern Asia & Korea region, the hotel is still constantly looking for ways to take its business a notch higher.

Other sister hotels in Asia have also recognised the Singapore team’s success. Many of them have approached Jinny Chong, Area Director of Finance and Business Support, and her team for advice, including requests to conduct a cross-exposure in InterContinental Singapore and learn about their best practices.

Jinny had to come up with a solution without compromising on the hotel’s daily operations. So, on her own initiative, she decided to organise an “open house” at her hotel for two days, extending the invitation to all hotels within the Southern Asian and Korea cluster, as well as regional offices in China. In doing so, Jinny and her team went above the call of duty to share their expertise in a great example of “working better together”.

“Since there were quite a number of teams wanting to improve in the same area, I thought, why not bring everyone together and learn from each other,” says Jinny, about her inspiration for holding this open house.

To their surprise, the response was so overwhelming that registration had to be closed early. Held on 12-13 April 2007, the Open House saw 20 participants, representing 16 hotels in Southern Asia and Korea.

“The Open House was a great opportunity to see how a best practice hotel uses Sun Systems Financial Solutions to its near full potential in its daily operations,” affirms Barton Jackson, Director of Hotel Finance & Business Support, Holiday Inn Silom Bangkok.

“As a new user, I found the training extremely useful – especially since we are gearing up for the implementation of Sun Systems at our hotel.” Bao Nguyen, Director of Hotel Finance and Business Support, remarks.

The Open House also allowed the group to discuss important operational issues and was an ideal platform for the participants to share candid opinions on their day-to-day work, Barton adds. “Well done to Jinny and the team at InterContinental Singapore for sharing their knowledge with the rest of us!”


Going Native [Celebrate Difference]

“Celebrating difference” takes on new meaning at the InterContinental Wellington. The hotel’s staff cafeteria, aptly nicknamed Culture Café, comes alive with festivities every quarter, designed to foster cultural awareness within the team.


Wellington City hosts the Rugby Seven’s annually. This year, the winners were the Samoan Team, which inspired the hotel’s Employee Survey Committee to think, what better way to celebrate than to hold a Samoan Day in their honour?

With that in mind, the Samoan colleagues within the team brought in treasures from home that symbolised the heart of their culture. Flags flew high as strains of Samoan music filled the air. Besides displaying paraphernalia such as rugby shirts, posters, leis, mats and more, platters of sumptuous Samoan food kept the team coming back for more!

In addition to this feast, a small group of talented dancers from the Housekeeping team kept everyone entertained with dance performances.

Petesa Va’a, a housekeeping supervisor and a Samoan native, was really looking forward to the Samoan Day event. "I was so excited about it!” Petesa exclaimed. “It's all about sharing our knowledge and experiences. It gives me and my Samoan colleagues a great sense of pride to see our culture showcased like this in front of the team at InterContinental Wellington. Everyone really enjoyed it – especially the impromptu dance routine by three of the Samoan Housekeepers."

All in all, going native on Samoan Day was a huge hit. The team at InterContinental Wellington intends to make this a regular feature on their calendar, so that they can continue to gain greater understanding of the different cultures and truly appreciate the diversity of their team.


The Emperor’s Old Clothes [Celebrate Difference]

Putting on the emperor’s old clothes was what the IHG Brand Teams did – literally – when they visited Seoul, Korea for a meeting on 18 April 2007.

As part of the “In the Know Experience”, team members had the unusual opportunity to try on a variety of traditional Korean costumes, including those worn by the King when he held audiences, a warrior’s outfit, as well as attire worn by those who had passed the state examination.

Stepping out in royal garments was truly an experience of a lifetime. Besides decking out in royal fashion, the team happily sampled a smattering of Korean food and drink. They were also treated to performances on traditional instruments, including Gayageum and Daegum.

A cultural exchange couldn’t be more meaningful than literally wearing the king’s clothes and feasting like a king!

[做正确的事] 诚信终有回报

想象当你遇到一叠钱,你完全可以神不知鬼不觉地将其具为己有……

不过,诚实的上海银星皇冠假日酒店服务员Lisa Ji在捡到两个装有近24,000欧元的大信封时并没有这样做,而是将此事毫不犹豫地报告给了酒店。

“我当时正在整理2045号房间,而检查保险箱是我们的标准工作环节之一”,Lisa将其发现丢失财物的经过讲给酒店,酒店立刻做出反应,尽全力联络丢失财物的房客。

这笔钱大约相当于人民币240,000元,可以是一位酒店服务员13年的收入,但Lisa甚至毫无将他人财物具为己有的念头。

她虚心地说:“我只是在尽自己的职责将财物归还失主,我做了正确的事。”

失主来自加拿大,当酒店与他取得联系时,他心中的石头终于落了地,并给予Lisa100欧元作为奖励,以表感激之情。

在澳大利亚皇冠假日酒店,工作人员在一整天的工作之后齐聚池畔吧内,品尝小吃和饮料,在惬意的环境里尽情放松。

接近午夜时,一位男士突然推着一辆损坏的自行车走入酒店大厅。此人叫Simon O’Brien,一位酒店杂工,也是一位出色的酒店常驻艺术家。“有没有可以让我停自行车的地方?”Simon在前台问道,“我出了事故,现在找不到可以停自行车的地方。”

当然,把自行车放在酒店里并不成问题。不过,当班的风险控制经理Josh Dorday听闻Simon的处境并发现他已不能回家的情况下,他主动将自己的信用卡交给酒店夜班经理,吩咐其给Simon开房过夜。

“Josh的善意另我十分感动”,Simon感激地说,“他这样做完全出于本能反应,在我最需要帮助的时候,他慷慨地伸出了援手。”

“成功减肥之道”慈善活动倡导健康生活方式,也是帮助大家减肥的有效方式。每减一公斤,当地的中央海岸社区福利基金将得到1元的慈善捐款。

该慈善活动为期三个月,届时将有营养学专家提供咨询服务,并由健康俱乐部经理Brad Williams先生的组织下以保密方式测量体重。在整个活动期间,各参与人员将被严格监控,并指定一名友人进行精神鼓励。

济南贵和皇冠假日酒店的厨师Mary Yu坚持钻研糕点制作,其厨艺不仅另客人赞叹不已,更是在国家烹饪大赛上征服了诸评委的心(以及胃口)。这对Mary Yu而言无疑是一次甜蜜的胜利。

今年4月,她在中国北京赢得了“最佳糕点技师”的称号。

Mary表示:“能得到这个称号,我很高兴!大家对我努力与付出的认可便是对我最大的鼓励!”

Mary于1980年开始做面点师,于2001年加入济南贵和皇冠假日酒店,后来转行做糕点师。两年后,Mary的出色工作和精湛厨艺得到了上级的赏识,继而被任命为糕点部负责人。

若Mary没有忙于制作出色的糕点(比如她的招牌糕点——巧克力慕斯蛋糕),那她一定在耐心地指导其团队成员如何奉献同样品质的糕点。在厨房里,Mary不仅在制作出色的糕点,更是在培养出色的糕点师。

“生龙活虎”听上去像是古代神话,但在第58界札幌国际雪节及第34界国际雪雕竞赛中,一只龙在香港海景嘉福酒店厨师Alan Tam Wai Lun的鬼斧神工下真的“活”了起来。

Alan与其团队以精湛技艺用9平方米的冰块雕出了三米长龙,共同演绎了当代冰河世纪的奇迹,一举夺得冠军。此次创作是为纪念香港回归中国10周年。

首席艺术家Alan表示:“既然是2007年,不妨以香港回归中国为主题进行创作,以龙代表10年前的交接盛事。”

精湛的冰雕作品将冠军头衔收入囊中,这标志着一位41岁厨师的20年职业生涯已达到了巅峰时刻。对于一个前半生从未见过雪的人而言,这个成绩已是相当不错!

举世闻名的札幌国际雪节即是冰雕世界的奥运会,它代表了一场以大自然为背景的角逐。来自17个国家的代表们耗时四天将冰块变为另人惊叹的艺术品。

Alan无奈的表示:“今年的形势比较严峻,尤其是天气状况。第一天的气温过热;然后下了雨,风势加大;后来甚至还下了雪!大雪覆盖了一切,很难看清你所雕刻的东西,而雨水又将冰块融化,产生孔洞。”

Alan是第五次参加札幌国际雪节了,前几次雪节中,他分获第二名、第三名及第四名的好成绩。Alan表示:“但今年的超级冠军头衔是最佳成绩。我不认为自己是最棒的冰雕家,不过我将尽我所能把冰块雕成最佳作品!”

惠灵顿市每年举办七人榄球赛,今年的冠军得主是萨摩亚队,这使酒店员工调查委员会得到了灵感:还有什么方式能比建立并庆祝“萨摩亚日”更好地庆祝这一胜利呢?

有鉴于此,萨摩亚的同事们从家中带来了象征其文化核心的珍品。旗帜飘扬,萨摩亚音乐弥漫整个酒店。除展示榄球衬衫、海报、花环、席垫等随身用品外,一盘盘可口的萨摩亚风味食品更是另大家意犹未尽。

1. Home Depot (America) to Take Over HomeWay (China) for $100,000,000
According to Financial Times (Britain), Home Depot, the world's largest self-service home improvement retailer, will purchase the majority shares in HomeWay (China) for $100,000,000 this week, a move which has long been expected in China's home improvement market. Experts say that authorities concerned will declare the purchase in China later this week, and it indicates the prime time of Home Depot’s two-year preparation.
From now on, Home Depot will carry out a head-on competition in China with Kingfisher (Britain), who has been promoting its business with the brand B&Q in China since 1999, boasting a sales network composed of over 50 stores. Headquartered in Tianjin, HomeWay was established by an entrepreneur named Du Sha in 1996, currently having 14 self-service hypermarkets in Northern China. 2. Average Price of New Properties in Beijing Exceeding ¥20,000/m2 with 70% Unsold
According to the website of the Real Estate Exchange Administration Centre of Beijing Municipal Construction Committee this morning, there were seven pre-sale real estate projects within half a year whose registered sales prices were over ¥20,000/m2, with their current selling rate at only 27%. Since June, 2006, the registered sales prices of the seven pre-sale projects such as West End Point, Guan Yuan and Star River have exceeded ¥20,000/m2, with salable houses amounting to 982 units, among them, only 269 units booked or sold up till 9:00 this morning, representing a sales rate of less than 30%. Experts believe that this sales rate indicates the redundant supply of this type of building projects and the developers’ overestimate of Beijing’s housing consumption power. 3. Subway to be Interconnected with Beijing CBD and New Office Properties Interconnected Underground by 2009
The future CBD of Beijing will be a place where pedestrians take the subway and leave ground ways to vehicles. By 2009, pedestrians will be able to walk smoothly from the subway under Jingguang Centre to Yintai Centre. Chen Gang, newly appointed Chaoyang District Secretary, said on his first day of service that parking lots would be constructed along Metro Line 10 and 1 within Chaoyang District, and drivers will be able to reach CBD by changing to the metros. The Secretary explained that the plan for CBD was an integrated one, with space already reserved for the planning of Basement 1 and 2 under newly completed buildings. Phase III of Beijing World Trade Centre, Phase III of Beijing Fortune Centre and Beijing Economy & Trade Center will be interconnected in the first stage. The subway from Jingguang Centre all the way to Yintai Centre is estimated to be available for smooth passage by the year 2009. It is reported that the plans for the interconnection between the subway west of East Third Ring Road and CCTV, the core area of CBD, Hanghua Building, Yintai Centre as well as Beijing World Trade Centre are all underway. 1. Overall Increase November in the Price Volume of the Secondary Property Market in Dalian
This November saw an overall increase in the price volume of the secondary property market in Dalian, with the average sales price of secondary properties at ¥5577/m2, link up 3.76%. Property market sales amounted to 2139 units, link up 24.65%, which equals a turnover of 97 units on a daily basis. This increase was due to the continuing effect from the autumn property fair in October as well as the fact that people’s adaptation period in response to new policies such as the increase in personal income tax has basically passed. Here’s a review on the secondary properties’ average price and price rise in the four downtown districts of Dalian: ¥5937.27/m2 in Zhongshan District, link down 0.13%; ¥5860.52/m2 in Xigang District, link up 6.64%; ¥5859.54/m2 in Shahekou District, link up 3.61%; ¥5058.12/m2 in Ganjingzi District, link up 7.78%. 2. Huge Investment in the Partnership Construction & Development of Changxing Island to be Launched by IMC Group
The signing ceremony for the partnership framework agreement between the Administration Committee of Dalian Changxing Island Harbour Industrial Zone, PDA Corporation and IMC Group (Singapore) was held on the evening of 8 December at Shangri-La Hotel. IMC Group was planning to launch a huge investment in the partnership construction and development of Changxing Island. Based on the agreement, the three parties will construct and operate the public harbour area of Changxing Island in a joint effort, including the refinement of timber, steel and grains in the back of the harbour area. IMC Group is also planning to develop ship building, ship maintenance, ship alteration and ocean engineering on Changxing Island, totaling an investment of $700,000,000 in the four projects. In the meanwhile, IMC Group will also carry out training programs for shipping and logistics personnel on Changxing Island. The landing of IMC Group is of great significance for Changxing Island in its effort to play a leading role in the province’s opening-up policy of “Five Points & One Line” and to accelerate the construction of the International Shipping Centre of Northeast Asia in Dalian.

二.半年内京城新房均价每平米超2万 7成多却未卖出
今天上午,记者从北京市建委房地产交易管理网上了解到,半年内京城共有7个预售房产项目的登记售价在2万元/平方米以上,其目前的销售率只有27%。从今年6月至今,西城晶华苑、观缘、星河湾等7个预售项目的登记售价超过2万元/平方米,这7个项目的可售房屋加起来共计982套。截至今天上午9时,这近千套房中已预订、售出的房屋套数仅为269套,即销售率不足三成。业内认识认为,不足三成的销售率,说明这一部分楼盘的供应量已超过需求量,也说明开发商对北京购房消费能力的估计偏高。(2006-12-13 法制晚报)
三.09年地下路网连通北京CBD 新建写字楼地下连通
未来北京CBD将实现地面走车,地下走人。2009年行人就能从京广中心地下畅通无阻地走到银泰中心,朝阳区新任区委书记陈刚上任首日召开媒体见面会时透露,朝阳辖区内的地铁10号线、1号线沿线将建停车场,驾车族换乘地铁进入CBD。陈刚介绍说,CBD是整体一次性规划,新建楼宇地下一、二层空间规划都已经预留了位置。首批先实现国贸三期、财富中心三期、经贸中心地下的互联。预计在2009年,从京广中心到银泰大厦的地下就能一路畅通了。据悉,东三环西侧地下走廊与央视、CBD核心区、航华大厦、银泰大厦、世贸中心的地下连通都在规划中。(2006-12-12 北京晨报)

大连市场
一、11月份大连市二手房市场价量同涨
大连市11月份二手房市场呈现整体价量同涨之势,二手房成交均价为5577元/平方米,环比上涨3.76%。市场交易套数2139套,环比上升24.65%,日均二手房成交量为97套。而上涨的原因主要有10月份的秋季房交会的影响延续及人们对增收的个税等新政的适应期已经基本过去等。 11月大连市内四区二手房均价及上涨情况基本是:中山区5937.27元/平方米,环比下降0.13%;西岗区5860.52元/平方米,环比上涨6.64个百分点;沙河口区二手房均价5859.54元/平方米,环比上涨3.61%;甘井子区二手房均价5058.12元/平方米,环比上涨7.78%。除中山区外,其他三个区的二手房均价都呈现上涨趋势。 (2006-12-12大连晚报)

二、万邦集团将投入巨资合作开发建设长兴岛
12月8日晚,长兴岛临港工业区管委会、大连港集团、新加坡万邦集团合作项目框架协议签字仪式在香格里拉大饭店举行。万邦集团将投入巨资合作开发建设长兴岛。根据协议,三方共同进行长兴岛公共港区的建设和运营。在港区后方发展木材深加工、钢材深加工、粮食深加工产业。万邦集团还计划在长兴岛进行船舶制造、船舶修理、船舶改装以及海洋工程,4个项目总投资额约7亿美元。同时,万邦集团还将为长兴岛培训港口、物流等方面的人才。万邦集团的进驻,对确立长兴岛在全省“五点一线”对外开放战略中的龙头地位和加快大连东北亚国际航运中心的建设具有重要意义。
