Malay and Japanese Subtitler required

Hello,

We are looking for a skilled Simulcast Subtitler to translate and subtitle a Japanese anime series into Malay. Must be able to deliver accurate, culturally relevant subtitles on time(24 hours).

Position: Simulcast Subtitler
Main Language Pairs : Japanese to Malay, Japanese to English, English to Malay
Show Length: 22 minutes per episode

Responsibilities:

1. Translate and subtitle episodes of an anime series from Japanese to Malay.
2. Ensure that subtitles are synced perfectly with the audio.
3. Maintain accuracy, cultural relevance, and natural language flow in translations.
4. Meet tight deadlines, especially with quick turnaround times for simulcasts.
5. Support for quality control and revisions.

Requirements:

1. Fluency in Japanese (JLPT N2 or higher preferred).
2. Native or near-native proficiency in Malay.
3. Prior experience in subtitling (anime or similar content is a plus).
4. Familiarity with subtitling software (e.g., Aegisub, Subtitle Edit).
