Mouse and keyboard are like churches and football teams: they both have their fans.

Smart people use both, depending on which is the best tool for the job.

But how well do both candidates support these devices?

OmegaT's keyboard shortcuts do not disappoint Feb 5

The most notable ones are as follows:
* Ctrl + I to insert the selected TM match at cursor position
* Ctrl + R to replace the target segment with the selected TM match

* Ctrl + Shift + I to copy the source segment to the target at cursor position
* Ctrl + Shift + R to replace the target segment with the source segment

* Ctrl + Shift + X to clear the current target segment
* Ctrl + Shift + S to instruct OmegaT that this source and target pair shou... See more

* Ctrl + Shift + I to copy the source segment to the target at cursor position
* Ctrl + Shift + R to replace the target segment with the source segment

* Ctrl + Shift + X to clear the current target segment
* Ctrl + Shift + S to instruct OmegaT that this source and target pair should be identical
* Ctrl + Shift + E to instruct OmegaT that this target segment should be empty (this shortcut is not set by default, but you can add it by modifying a text file in the settings)

The last two commands in particular are a breath of fresh air for me, coming from memoQ and Trados, which always ended up showing false positive QA warnings, which required me to ignore them one by one.
