Hello, I've just installed windows 8.1 and found out afterwards that DVX2 is not compatible with it ! Tried reinstalling DVX2 of course, as well as put it in compatibility mode with windows 8 or even windows 7, but it did not help Does anyone have any clue ? Thanks! Bye Martine | | |

I did send them a mail yesterday. I tried reinstalling + opening it in compatibility mode. The software opens, it just refuses to create any project or open existing ones. I'll try again today. | | |

I just got a new 64bit laptop, upgraded it to Windows 8.1 and then installed DVX2. I cannot open any projects or create a new one. | |

Thanks to feedback here and on the dejavu-l mailing list, we were able to reproduce and solve the issue over the weekend. We will be releasing a new build of DVX2 soon, but in the meantime you can write to [email protected] and we will send you a link to download a patch for build 633 which will resolve the issues with Windows 8.1. | | |
