Don't be disheartened, valDublin, it's easy to write - and read - things on these online forums that don't come across the way they're intended. A bit like a car windshield really, it often disguises the real person underneath!
I specialise in proofreading French to English translations for other translators, agencies etc. I'd be happy to take a look at a sample paragraph if that would help - hopefully you can get my details off my Proz profile.

Starting your own business can be lonely and hard - even with industry experience - so please let's keep this forum supportive and positive! Learning from each other is more important than proving you can succeed on your own.
