老外喜欢把两个同义词放在一块，其实我们在翻译时却可以捏成一起。
再如：effectiveness and efficiency。

同意你对Health 和 fitness的理解,身体无疾为Health,身体无障(功能良好)为fitness

但如果说工作场所里的Health 和 fitness似乎强调的是(职业)卫生和健康,即工作场所里工作人员没有受到职业因素的不良影响,他们的身体能够胜任工作要求。

“健美”在中文中多用于“健美操”和“健美运动”，似乎用“健身”要准确些。

你说得对！health 和fitness确有差異。
前者一般指健康或卫生，后者与鍛煉、健身/体有关，因而涉及体格/魄（状况）。在此是否可译成:健康与体格/魄（状况）或健康与健身/体

　　2）针对工作场所内人们的身体健康和是否达标情况，夏威夷的XXX研究人员现正展开一项调查／研究。

fitness = the condition of being physically fit 健康 eg doing exercises to improve their fitness 做体操以增强体质
health = the general condition of your body 健康状况 eg She's in very good health.她的身体非常健康. Smoking is very bad for your health.吸烟对你的健康非常有害.
