Die Beurteilungskriterien waren 5 typische Erkältungssymptome, 3 typische Rachenbefunde sowie Herpes labiales, die je nach Ausprägung mit den Punktwerten:
0 = beschwerdefrei, 1 = leichte Ausprägung und 2 = starke Ausprägung bewertet und zu einem gemeinsamen Gesamtsummenscore (maximal mögliche Punktzahl = 18) zusammengefaßt wurden.

agree Bjørn Anthun : Rachen is definitely pharynx, but since herpes labialis (cold sores/Lippenherpes) usually affects the lips, I would add oral (having to do with the mouth - generally speaking) to include that // oropharyngeal refers to the oropharynx (back of the throat)

You could say oropharyngeal but without more context, I think this is taking a liberty with the original.///thanks - good job someone's paying attention :-)
