German term
erfragte und erhobene Befunde
German to English
Medical
Medical (general)
I don't know what the difference is between these two terms. They are part of a "Mutterpass". I would like to know what they mean and how to translate them.
Thanks!
Erfragte Befunde: Atemstillstand etc.
Erhobene Befunde: Untergewicht, Unreifezeichen etc.

I don't much like "findings" but without a fuller context, hard to say what would be better - parameters?

Another dichotomy could be symptoms vs signs.

Note from asker:
It is a chart, where the physician should mark any applicable "findings". this is from a first examination for newborns. Findings looks okay to me here, but I am open to other suggestions. Thank you very much for your quick reply! |

anamnesis and clinical findings
"observed" has too many connotations of mere visual input, whereas "erhoben" refers rather to actively examining the patient.
erfragte: established in conversation with patient or through questionnaire = anamnesis
erhobene: established during a physical examination
A possible pairing might be
anamnesis
clinical findings/results of physical exam

For the distinction between "erheben" and "erfragen"
