These zones coalesce to form a large zone that surrounds all of the mineralizing centers. This early advanced argillic alteration is followed by brecciation and a second stage of advanced argillic alteration and mineralization comprised of alunite-pyrite-enargite (APE) that forms a zone nearly coincident with the earlier zone.
